A programme of continuous research has been embedded in all of EDC’s activities. Our research requirements are diverse and span the range from basic, strategic and applied research.

Through sharing the basic and strategic research, EDC aims to facilitate knowledge transfer activities and:

• maintain an up-to-date analysis of international activity, including legislative developments
• support promotional activities through strategic papers, industry publications and EDC promotional material
• produce and present academic, conference and guidance papers
• remain open to collaborative research opportunities with national and international stakeholders
